Convert VRO to AVI (or other)

Found a free utility for this: MPEG StreamClip at www.squared5.com.

It doesn't seem to do VRO's with multiple chapters and it's very limited in the output due to it using Apple filters predominantly.
I used output to AVI, H.263 with mp3 stereo.
I would have preferred H.264 but whenever I used that, nothing played in Media Player.
